This morning I revisited the site of the Distant Realms photograph featured in my previous post. Autumn colours are returning but the sunlight is still strong creating contrast and highlights which bring depth and texture to the photograph.
Although this was taken in the same space as "Distant Realms" the different light conditions bring a new dimension to the image and, as with all my photographs, it is an unrepeatable unique moment of light, colour, movement and colour captured forever. The feeling of peace and calm absorption that I experience when taking these photographs comes through in the image. There is so much detail and depth in the photographs I never tire of viewing them, often finding something new on repeated viewings.
